C'Garh Outdoor is a collection inspired from Chandigarh chair. 

The aim of this project is to understand the design of the Chandigarh Chair designed by Pierre Jeanneret. 

Chandigarh Chair

Chandigarh Chair Was designed in the 1950s when the city was being constructed. The chair is designed by Architect Pierre Jeanneret and a team of Indian Architects.

The Chair has IConic A-shaped legs making the chair easy to mass-produce and the chair gives clean modernist aesthetics.

The was made with Teak wood and wicker weavings and also with leather cushioning inside.

Form Developement

Chair 1

This chair has asymmetrical A-shaped cement legs which can be casted directly with silicone molds. 

The handrest can be made with SS.

The base of the chair can be also made with cement and interlocks into the body


This table has 3 cement parts which can be made with casting and can be made with silicone molds.

The handrest can be made with SS.

Chair 2

Along with the asymmetrical legs this chair also has a backrest made of metal rod.
